An enemy AEP unit jumped out at me and Terrance with their chest opened up to shoot some toxic projectiles at us. We we both caught off guard. A big booming sound came and knocked all three of us to the ground. It was a self-satisfied Timmy. "You have to keep going. Get to safety so we can protect you already." he said mockingly. I really hated his attitude. He spat out a bullet and put it in his arm to shoot at the enemy while she was down. "I'm not going down that easily!" she roared as she charged them. She rolled out of the way and kipped up. We also got up and began running for the teller's gate. Once we were inside, I shut it behind us and crouched down. This was really intense. "I don't suppose we can call any back up from the local boys in blue to help us." I said out loud. Nancy crawled over and said "I called them. Marion went down here. There should be here any minute." All I could do was nod. I was getting really tired out from all the running around. I poked my head out just a bit to see what was going on. The X-frames were still going strong. So was the last Toxic AEP unit.
Timmy, Tammy, Tommy and Temmy were in really rough shape. The golden nanites gave them large damage boosts and doubled their protection when used for their armor. They were still out numbered and two of the enemies were much bigger than they were. If they did not have the golden nanites, they probably all would have died by now. The amount of PEP units flocking to our side had stopped. All of the ones that came to the bank were now dead. There would only be some many cyborgs living in the area. I groaned in frustration. As humans, all that we could do was wait. I had magic, so I ran interference for our allies as they fought. Three minutes later and there were way mote sirens blaring. "That is enough! This is the Police! Come on out with your hands up or we're coming in. You won't like it when we do." someone with a bull horn said. One of the X-frame shot at the door and blew it open. It fired another salvo of projectiles with the other hand. That did damage, but the ones that were okay charged at once. "Sonic Clan! Fall back!" I shouted. Timmy and Tommy did not listen.
We watched as it became a three way conflict. The police did not discriminate between cyborgs here. They shot at Timmy and Tommy just as much as the X-frames and the Toxic AEP unit. That was what I knew would happen like this. It was why I told them to fall back to where we were. Being shot at by humans really flustered them. As members of the Advocate faction, they were not going to attack humans unless they were clearly in the wrong. It was a mix up and they thought that they could explain themselves in the middle of the battlefield. "We are here to help you guys! Stop it." Timmy said, clearly shocked by this turn of events. "Idiots! Those guys over there are the enemy." Tommy said, pointing to the X-frames. The police did not care. I had an energy generator running to heal up Tammy and Temmy. Timmy cut his loses and ran over to us. He was able to catch some healing from the big generator. Tommy was being stubborn. He was still trying to take on the enemy AEP unit all by himself. It was not hard to beat her up when the whole room was against her. He knocked her down.
