The Rain duplicate, who was fully possessed by the original Rain at the moment stood silent. She was sure before she took over this body there was no one else, how could she have been so careless? Now someone had spotted her in transition! With a slight squint, she could swear he looked like the annoying boy who always pulled pranks and got called out through the speaker phones. Maybe if she played it smooth she could get away, she figured.
"Uhhm, funny seeing another student out here! Well, I should get to class." She tiptoed off, regretting her choice of words. 'Oh real real clever, playing dumb.
Zach shouted. "WOAH. Hey, you! Stop! Stop right there and right now. I'm not one to ever say that but, I saw that."
She turned around "Saw what?"
The boy rolled his eyes. "Saw 'that.' What do you think I'm dumb or something? You so totally just shapeshifted!"
Rain swallowed her deepest held courage and crossed her arms. "What? No you didn't, that's absurd! Are you high or something?"
"Oh yeah right, come on. That's got the be the worst denial since my own."
"I shapeshifted, really? Why don't your prove it." Rain insisted with a smug grin. Stepping back cautiously, she knew what she was getting into. He knew what he was daring of her.
"It's not technically hurting a lady if you're really a boy right? Hope you don't mind if I do than." Zach dashed forward. If he got this faker on the ground and held by force, they'd have to reveal their true form. And than he'd be one contestant down! Rain ran the other direction and into the opposite hall. The chase was on.
