Zach strolled boredly through the halls, Katie in arm. He had no intention of heading to class or being in any hurry, with his newfound powers to freeze people's attentions and pasts he had no bother. And with other contestants on the loose, he hardly felt like sitting around pretending to listen to lectures.
As Katie sipped through a coca-cola, Zach spotted a truant loafer hanging around the halls. The boy had a dark sweatshirt and struggled to open his locker, swearing various obscenities. Snicking to himself and the boys misfortune, Zach had already formulated a dozen ways to mess with this soon to be victim in the prime of his vulnerability. He got up and slowly crept forward, wondering how he'd agitate him just to activate his ability. Before he could however, the boy turned around and froze in place.
Zach was speechless. The stranger went through a dramatic transformation.
His hair grew out and was suddenly filled with certain dark highlights. His socks turned to black and white stripes. His shirt became a fascia blouse and jeans became a colorful pencil skirt. His physique became feminine with curves rapidly, and without a moment to observe so his face morphed entirely, changing his whole being. The dumpy boy had become an entirely new girl. She checked herself out for a moment, as if surprised and did a short-lived twirl. She was for all intents and purposes, a perfect duplicate of the Rain in hiding in the bathroom half a hall down.
Short lived because the new Rain noticed she'd been spotted by a weary delinquent. One staring her down right than and there with a mouthful of questions begging to be asked.
