Deep underneath a highly covert lab in the Stepford Shampoo's Mass Market Industries, a few Stepfordian women plotted. They had more free will and individuality than most, and while they acknowledged their business as supreme and the destiny of all to be Stepford Wives, the need for individuality and slight differences, or atleast castes and groups was kept urgent in their minds.
Thus as they toiled and prepared, their research finally gave birth to powerful new products. Shampoo agents that could create stereotypical sub-groups, 'flavors' of beautiful and still dutiful Stepford Wives. Without informing the inferior hivemind of Stepfordians, they snuck their products into circulation, shipping them to just as many individuals throughout the world. Advanced technology would allow them to monitor and witness those who received these special concoctions from a far.
The Stepford Trials were about to spread. The (s)mothering would soon begin.
