The two very plain girls looked at each other, one of them still gripping with fear. Although it hadn't washed away all her worries yet, the socks melding in her mind meanwhile had been converting her chic designer shirt into a plain grey sweatshirt. Her lavender pencil skirt likewise start to meld into grey sweat pants, but the Seamtress shook her head and with the snap of her fingers made them into a white skirt instead. "Even making the clothes match would be a little too pleasing. We cannot have that can we!"
Swearing all sorts of obscenities in her head, she was approached by the store's mistress who plucked the socks out and shook her head. "Anger isn't conductive to the ordinary you know. Let's get you to, mellow out." She proceeded to stuff the socks in her mouth and cup them in. Rather than leading her to choke, they seemingly melted and started reforming her from the inside out. All her light but easygoing makeup was gone, her hairdo lost it's sassy curls to become shapeless and ill, undefined with acceptable short bangs in front. Even her pretty facial features were drained leaving her a bit more ordinary, but not too 'ordinary' that it would still be attractive in a 'Plain Jane' type of way.
With a sudden clicking in her head, a flood of color poured out and she was left empty. She sighed, knowing she was just horrifically changed and drained of all her livelihood, but unable to retaliate or care. A part of her mind was changed to even like it, but just not very enthusiastically, only mildly accepting it. Everything quite simply, was averaged out.
