A generally irritable young boy and his wunderkind maiden whisked off to a the outskirts of town. Walking among gentle roads in the dead of night, they quietly discussed their modus operandi for their travels.
"Are you, sure it's okay to be doing this? I'm unsure how it even works." Rain said gloomily. Putting questions about her moral indecision and insecurities aside, she'd focused her worry on how to even go about their night's conquest. Strolling the night in purple-and black leggings, her usual fishnet fingerless mesh gauntlets and holding her hands together nervously with black fingernails shaking only slightly over her red and black knee-length pleaded checkered skirt, Rain held her breath and tried to reconcile with her conscience.
"I don't know, you tell me. And we'll never goddamn know unless you try it, right?" Leon insisted, sighting someone walking out around the corner. He grabbed Rain's hand and pulled them forward, tailing another young girl as she blabbered on her phone.
"That's Hailey Kafka, from the former dance club that used to pick on you when you were younger right? Well now she's a ruddy snob of a cheerleader. Whad'ya say we test it out on her."
The young girl pulled her hoodie over her head, taking a good look at the ginger broad across the street. "Okay. But if this does anything bad or hurts her, we're done alright?"
"Fine, whatever. Just try to get close and use your magic." Leon ordered, going around the other way swiftly as to cross towards her in front rather than chasing her from behind.
As the two ominously walked by her, Leon smacked her phone out of her hand inconspicuously.
"HEY! What gives you freak?!?" Hailey shouted. Before she could do anything more or retrieve her phone, Leon held her from behind aggressively restraining her.
Rain licked the side of her lip, made a cross gesture with arms as if to aim or shield herself and concentrating on the power enabled within her as much as possible, waved her arms outward and zoned out. For a brief second, all was black. When she opened her eyes and could see again, her perspective was quite, different.
