John looked back at the orb. "Reverse the last thing you did," he said, hoping that would do the trick. A moment later, everything changed back to how it was before. John sighed with relief.
"What the fuck is that thing?" Derek asked, staring at the floating ball.
But John didn't answer him. He was too busy looking out the front door. He could see Cassie and Sandy walking away, as if nothing strange had happened. He stood there for a little longer, waiting for his last "new" friend to show up (so far, there have been four - the business woman, the hippie, the girl, and the ex-con). But no one else showed up. The orb had returned to him, so that meant the fifth person had been changed by the orb, so where was the person? He hoped nothing bad happened to whoever it was. After all, his "new" friends had orders to come to his apartment right away.
