Karyn held the stone and said "I wish we would stop wasting time here and get to the game." The stone glowed and they got in the car and went to the game.
When they got to the field, Gary saw his wife in the bleachers. "Hey, Lorraine. Sorry I took so long to get here."
"It's okay. You came just in time to see Beverly doing her cheers."
Gary and Karyn (his mistress) sat down next to Lorraine. Gary still couldn't watch his son-turned-daughter cheerleading, but because of Karyn's wish, he was compelled to at least be at the game. Then a thought occured to him. What happened to the stone? he thought. I had it, and then Karyn ...
He looked over at Karyn and saw that she was still holding it. He had to get it back. "Uh, Karyn? Could I have my stone back?"
"No way. You obviously don't know how to wish for things. I think it would be better if I held onto it for a while."
What was Gary going to do, now?
