Both Lynx and Link's hands had strong magnetic plates under their palms that allowed them to do this feat. If there was any metal content, they could shoot magnetic waves from their hands to ether attract or repel the object. I thought it was pretty cool. With Luka, he had similar plates in the soles of his feet. The way they functioned was that they polarized the electrons in the ground. By doing so, they created a charge that could then allow Luka to push off from the ground. Because this was due to his feet, he could run even in the air. I thought that this was really cool. This would give them a large number of unique options in combat. While they were genuinely curious about the concept of humans in a PEP unit clan, they were very prideful about themselves. It was like a trio of children at show and tell. They liked to flex all their armor plating and explain how their organs worked. We all knew about the armor plating already. Cute.
