03 simply glared at me. "You better not be lying." he warned. He then pulled out a phone from his pocket and dialed a number. "Leader. I have the admin access code to the PBJ Clan affiliated guild." he said. I could not hear the voice of the person on the other end of the call. I did not recognize the number, but I really had no reason to believe that it was not the leader of Volition Clan. 03 then smiled genuinely as he nodded his head once. "It was super easy. I just had to isolate Brianne from the rest of their clan and threaten them for a bit." he reported. The call ended and he put his phone back into his pocket. "I'm going to kill those symbiotes." he told me. I looked at him like he was crazy. "You can't do that. I already told you about the AEP sensitive security. Even with the code, you're going to trigger it." I said. "We do not care. They cannot be allowed to infect any other AEP units. This is a directive from Void Clan." I raised an eyebrow. "Is that true? Void Clan is going to war with Cold Clan?" I asked him. This was very serious. 03 scoffed. "We're allies. Of course Cold Clan is okay with it."
I rolled my eyes. I pat 03 down. "Are you actually wearing clothes, or are these made with your nanites? We already went over this stuff. You can't do this mission unless you have the proper protection." I probed. He slapped my hand away. "Stop fussing over me Brianne! Why are you so invested in me?" he snapped in annoyance. I gave him a look. He sighed. "If you want to be friendly, you could help me kill them." It was my turn to scoff. "This is another suicide mission. Even if Cold Clan stands down when you get there, all of the members PBJ Clan will still shoot at you. Especially the humans in the guild. That's-" I was explaining when I got a call. It was Paul on the line. I decided to answer it. "Yeah Paul? What's up?" I asked. "I got a call from Cold Clan. They want us to let some guys come in and kill the symbiotes. You hear about it?" he told me. I sighed. "Yeah. Void and Cold Clans do not want to risk the symbiotes infecting other AEP units. So, they decided to send 03 again because he is super expendable. No doubt the Cold Clan guild members will kill him on the spot if he fails."
Paul was not pleased. "They really have it out for Jazni Town." he remarked. "What can you do? They hoped the line and they don't have humans that can deny orders of the higher ups." I said. I could see 03 crossing his arms at me. "What do you want to do about it?" Paul asked. "I almost for got about them. I was way too busy with 02. I don't care if they kill Blue and Brown. I think some of the human in the guild will be upset, but they can get over it with some more money." "But you like 03 though. Are you going to help him?" he asked me. "I guess I'll have to stop him from getting killed off like a loser." I said. Paul hung up the phone and I looked at 03. "We're going to the store." I told him. 03 then rearranged his nanites. The clothes that I had bought him were now on. "I am not stupid. I just prefer using my own nanites. Human clothes are inefficient." he said. Compared to ever-changing and infinitely malleable nanites, that was obviously true. He was still missing the jacket. I put the one I was wearing over him. He had a car at the ready to get to the guild building. We let him drive us there.
