If that was all that he could make, it made sense that he would be content with the functionality of his sonic organ. He still did not have enough. That was fine though. 02 was free of the corruption from the brown ooze. He could replicate nanites on his own with enough energy. I still had Eta and Theta on call. The next week was spent on putting all of the PEA units to work. Due to the fact that we had more than six units, we had to divide the tasks between the new squads. Eta, Theta and Skylar were all on one small team. The original squad was its own group. I gave 7 of the 13 mission routine to the old squad. Their nanites were more valuable. Skylar missed out on the first 2 missions, so he only could complete 4. That was still 4 times spent with 02. 02 still did not get along with the original squad. He would be a fool to turn down all of their free nanites. The first squad were now at 46 completes missions and were legends among the PEA units on the continent. Their nanites were purple by the end of the week. The others were still just black. He could finally make his old outfit again. Good.
02 was now fully back to normal. He had more black, blue and purple nanites making up his body than his original gray. That was fine. He also had all 3 slots for memory chips filled. One was the original blue one from Zeta. All the PEA units wanted to outdo that success. The next was a purple one from Alpha. That gave him a 10% boost to his hacking speeds. The third one was from Beta. It was purple as well. Hers granted a 10% bonus to 02's hand to hand combat damage. That were pretty remarkable buffs. With the overflowing state of his nanites he decided to finally purge the slightly corrupted sonic organ. He made the new one entirely out of purple nanites. This allowed it to function at 160%. Since he was a hybrid his organs were only half as powerful as the purebred AEP units. With this upgrade, he was now 80% the capacity of all the purebreds. It set him high above all of the other hybrids in PBJ and Volition Clans which was fine with me. I could flood our clan's AEP units with even higher tier memory nanites as well. Doing all of this took quite a bit of time. A month had passed by.
Getting a call from 03 was rare. He told me that he was in Dwan Town. "I need to see you. It's important." he said. There was an urgency in his voice. "Alright, I'm coming now. Don't worry." I said as I hurried myself out of the clan building. I saw 03 across the street from the cab depot. I crossed over to see him. "What's gong on!? Are you okay?" I asked. He nodded. "Leader said that I need to get the new codes for the guild building. We're going to get our revenge for 02." he said with a look of conviction. I was caught off guard by that. That did remind me. The symbiotes were still there. I was too busy with 02 to even think of anything to do with the guild building. They were both docile to humans. I looked at him and said "I did not change the access codes. I have no clue if Cold Clan did, but the ones you were given are the backdoor access set for the administrator. Those always work." He looked at me in surprise. "I don't believe you!" he snapped. I tilted my head in confusion. "But I already told you all this stuff before we went to the guild building Why would I be lying about this." I asked him.
