Once I said that out loud there were quite a few whose heads perked up. Two rushed over to me immediately. The squad was caught off guard and flabbergasted. If they were not going to play nice with 02, I honestly did not need them now. If Paul, Brett of the actual transmission hub had a use for them, that was fine. Otherwise, they all would just wander around the town and clan building doing nothing. I pushed my way out of the circle to look at the new clan members. The looked fit and ready to do whatever was asked of them. "You two will do. Welcome to PBJ Clan, Eta. Theta." I said to them. They both smiled at me. "What are we going to do?" Eta asked. He had much more scar tissue marring his body than Theta. "02 needs to be restored after a mistake I made. In order for that to happen, what I need from you is to take on the female sexual upgrade and use your memory nanites to let him replenish his extremely depleted supply." They shared an incredulous look. "Is that really what we will be doing?" Theta asked. "If you would rather be sent on suicide mission, yes." I said with a nod.

It was all on them at the end of the day. They probably also did not like 02 because he was a deviant. If they wanted to be part of the clan but be useless, that was on the two of them. It was just a show of power against the six members of the squad. They were never going to be able to control me. As a display of power, it was worth way more to me to let the new units join the clan than to give in. Theta sighed and said "I don't like dealing with deviant members, but I will if it gets me in the clan." That was probably the best attitude to have in this situation. Eta sighed deeply. "Yeah. I agree with Theta on this. Let's just get this mess over with." he said. I smiled at their squad seniors once again and then looked at the new recruits. "Follow me." I laid them on the table and began the installation for the sexual upgrade. I had fabricated them so I did not have to wait for them to complete 15 missions. All of the nanites they would produce would be black and basically blank with no chance of making a chip. That was perfect for 02. He needed all the nanites he could get. When I finished, they were full.
