Running my hands along his arms and tummy, I smiled. "02! The corruption is gone! This is great!" I cheered out loud. He shook his head. "No. There is still a whole lot left. I just externalized the corruption into a form easy for me to purge. My shorts are still there and they are fully corroded." Looking closer the red streaks seemed to be pulsing and glowing faintly. It was pretty freaky to me to be honest. "Can you get rid of those shorts then!?" I asked him. "I can't. I do not have enough nanites inside me after all the purging of those parasite organs and all of those false limbs. Currently, my nanite count is insufficient to maintain this form without the corruption. If I tried to take them off, I would revert back to my primordial state." he informed me. That primordial state was the giant gray glob that came from the X-frames during birth. I really did not want that for 02. He was my friend after all. If he was trapped in that form, he would not be able to do much of anything. That certainly sucked to hear. We were not without any hope, however. I could get the PEA units to give him more memory nanites.
There was something that I wanted to go. "How about your head? Do you still feel like you have to go to the guild building? Anything like that?" I asked. He frowned. Uh oh. "That symbiote wormed deep into my core systems. It was unlike anything we could have expected. Even if it was just my non corrupted nanites making up my form now, I would still want to go there. By purging the significant chunks of corruption, I can better resist the urge to do so." he admitted. I could see his hips wave back and forth almost absentmindedly. He was not a human, so that had to be the influence of the corruption. "Lets get you back to your room." I offered. 02 looked at me. I looked at him. He stepped closer and leaned into my ear. "You know. It's been a while since I've been able to play with 01. 03 doesn't like the sensation, but I like it a lot. Do you want to play with me, Brianne? I do owe you for helping me this much." Seeing as it was his lower half that was covered in corruption, that was going to be hard pass from me. "Maybe when we can get those shorts off. I don't want to catch something." I said.
He looked shocked and then smiled. "Maybe I'll find another partner by that time. This is not an unlimited offer." he teased back as he turned and swayed his ass in front of me. We went down the elevator and walked over to his room. I watched him go in and made sure that the door was closed. I was going to get the squad together to send them on another set of missions. Looking for them, I found them talking amongst themselves in the PEA Lab. I smiled and approached them. When I did so, all of them encircled me. I raised an eyebrow. I was not expecting them to be looking at me so seriously. Alpha appeared to be the leader of the group. He was right in front of me when he spoke. "Brianne. We were talking about it just now. We don't want to pair up with 02 for creating the memory chips anymore." he said. This was going to be a problem. This whole project was only undertaken for 02's sake. We had so many AEP units that they were not strictly needed for the operation of the clan. I shrugged and said that it was totally okay. "Alright! I need PEA units to pair with 02. Full membership!"
