Jon stared at his neighbour's invention, curious, nervous, and asked, "What does it do?"
Leonard looked at Jon with a baffled look. "Why, I told you what it was going to do once I started building it! It's a reality altering machine, or RAM for short. With this baby I can change anything I want. Well, anything around town, anyway. It has a bit of a limited range."
"You mean you this machine can change the world?" Jon asked.
"No, it's more than that," Leonard replied, scratching his belly, "I can change reality itself. When I make a change, it becomes a natural part of reality, as if it had always been that way. I can change people, things, even history, or physics! With this machine, I can pretty much be a god!"
