Damian stared at him in surprise. “Really? You mean it?”
“Ruff, Ruff,” nodded Jon, not entirely sure why he said it, but it did sound really interesting.
Damian swallowed and said “Give me a moment to collect my thoughts and think how to word this right. Woof at any time if you change your mind.”
Jon smiled and gave another “Ruff.”
Damian sat in silence racking his brains for how to word it. After a few minutes he said “Okay, think I’ve got it. I wish that 1 in 20 people were petboys and petgirls. I wish they are like regular people until they are fifteen. I wish that at fifteen they undergo special training for a year to help them become petpeople in personality. I wish when training is over they get adopted by a family and become that family’s pet. I wish even though they are pets they are legally still humans with all that entails. I wish petpeople still attend school, but go to the same classes as one of their ‘owners’. I wish after graduation petpeople will stick with their owner, either helping with their job or higher education or stay home as a housekeeper.” He took a deep breath and looked at Jon, giving him one last chance to woof. “I wish Jon was my petboy that my parents had recently adopted and I wish we were close like boyfriends.”
The two of them looked away and when they looked back they were surprise to see Jon was now wearing only his collar, a pair of skintight boxers and leather cuffs around his wrists and ankles. Jon reached up and felt a headband on his head which felt like it had a pair of dog ears sticking out the top. In one corner of the room was a box of toys and some toys were strewn around the floor nearby.
“Ru-uff,” comment Jon with a smile.
