Were any of these clothes hers? She stripped out of what she was wearing. That didn't seem to be hers, and sat there on the cold bench, staring at the lockers as if one of them might be hers...
Officer Danielle Chase cursed as she saw the woman had wandered off. She checked the locker room and found the woman standing in front of Danielle's locker, putting on her clothes. "What the hell are you doing?" Danielle asked.
"Getting dressed," the woman said, in the same monotone she had before. She already had one of Danielle's bras on, and was starting to slip on her spare uniform shirt.
"But those are my clothes," Danielle insisted. "Why don't you put your clothes on?" She said, gesturing to the pile of clothes on the floor.
The woman didn't stop. Danielle was afraid to move on her. She didn't seem violent...right now.
She actually looked like she belonged in that uniform. Danielle dismissed that thought as it grew in her mind.
The woman focused on her. "Just calm down, honey," she said, in a soothing voice. "Everything is going to be all right. I'm just going to run you over to the hospital where they can take care of you..."
"But...hospital?" Danielle said, sounding increasingly uncertain.
"Remember me? I brought you here. I'm Officer Chase."
The words echoed through her head. "I'm Officer Chase," she repeated.
"You are just confused...Now..let's get you out of that," she said.
A few minutes later, Officer Chase escorted her out of the locker room
Kurt Maybourn looked up. "What's going on?"
Lydia Chase looked at him. "I found the poor thing stripping in the bathroom. Did the search come back with anything?"
"No..." he said, looking at Danielle as if she was a stranger. "You want to run her over for psychiatric observation?"
"Sure...my turn to drive?"
