Jon's thoughts whirled as he looked at the beautiful, smiling girl in the mirror. Wait... smiling? He wasn't smiling! He frowned, and the girl in the mirror did the same. But as soon as he stopped, the smile returned.
"Why does it look like I'm smiling?"
"Oh, that! We went ahead and altered your face to make your default expression cheerful. We thought it would be a good PR move. Mr. Jones said something about wanting to make sure you didn't have 'resting bitch face.'"
Jon sighed. "I'm sorry. This is a lot to take in."
Dr. Bradford nodded. "I understand. Take a few moments to compose yourself. The clothes here are for you," she said, gesturing to a pile of folded clothing on one of the tables. "Get dressed, and when you're ready you can join us for lunch in the mess hall."
