Jon stepped closer to the window to take a closer look at the figure in Mrs Wilson's garden; it looked to be a child, about the same age as Mikey and as far as Jon could tell it was a boy (he figured if he was in his mother's role then it might be the same for other families). The boy had grey hair done in the same style as Mrs Wilson and he was wearing a sun hat along with a green and pink blouse along with beige pants and matching shoes. As well as the outfit, the boy had managed to inherit Mrs Wilson's mannerisms as he did the gardening. Who was this boy Jon wondered, perhaps he was a grandson or maybe just a complete stranger, either way Jon had done enough staring and went back to making dinner.
Part way through the preparation of dinner Jon heard the front door open and then slam shut, he didn't have time to wonder who it was however as his father came stomping through to the kitchen dressed in Zoe's favourite outfit. Roger had obviously taken Zoe's role while Zoe must've taken Roger's. "Good evening sweetie" Jon said "You're home late, where have you been?" He asked "At the occult shop." Roger replied matter of factly "Oh ok honey" Jon replied "Dinner will be ready in about half an hour" "Fine" Roger replied as he headed upstairs to Zoe's room.
Half an hour later Zoe came home carrying her father's briefcase dressed in a plain white shirt along with a blue and black stripped tie and a black jacket. She also wore black trousers and black polished shoes, her black hair was the same as her father's which was starting to thin at the top. After coming through the door she put her briefcase down in the study and then headed in to the kitchen where she greeted Jon with a peck on the cheek "Hi honey" Zoe said, "Hi sweetheart" Jon replied "You're just in time, but you can get changed if you want and can you call the kids down please?" Jon asked "Sure thing" Zoe replied and headed upstairs.
Jon turned back to dinner and started to put it onto the table
