"...The roles between adults and kids were reversed." Jon had recently gained an interest in society and it's roles and he had wondered what would happen if kids acted like adults and vice versa. He closed his eyes as the rock began to glow.
When he opened them, Jon saw that he was no longer in his bedroom. He was now in his parents room, he wondered how his wish had turned out so he left the room and exited to the hallway. Jon could hear some noises coming from his room so he headed there, poking his head around the door Jon saw his mother sitting on the edge of his bed playing a video game. She looked very different; she was wearing his favourite T-shirt and a pair of baggy jeans, he could tell that she wasn't wearing a bra under her shirt as her breasts were hanging loose. Her hair was also cut in a similar style to his and she wore no makeup or jewellery.
After a few minutes Linda noticed that Jon was poking round the door, paused her game and looked up. "Oh, hey mom! What's up?" "Mom?" Jon thought "Oh nothing honey," he said "just wondered what you were doing." "Just playing my games as usual mom, how long until dinner?" Linda asked "errm, it'll be about hour ready for when your father gets home." Jon replied bluffing, "oh OK" Linda said returning to her game, Jon looked around the room and saw that the room was a mess. "hey Linda, clean up this mess before dinner please?" Linda nodded and waved Jon out of the room.
Closing the door behind him, Jon took a look at himself. Sure enough he was wearing his mother's clothes "how had I not noticed this before?" Jon asked himself and he went back to the master bedroom to look at himself in the mirror. Jon was wearing a red polka dot housedress; his brown hair was medium length and finished just above his shoulders, it was the same style that his mother always wore. His makeup was the same as his mother's; he had dark red lipstick, brown eyeshadow, he also had some foundation on which matched his skin tone. On his feet he wore a pair of sandals.
"This is interesting," Jon thought to himself. He and his mom had obviously switched places, he wondered what would happen with Zoe and Mikey. "I'll guess I'll wait until dinner" he thought, and with that he headed downstairs to start making dinner...
