Jon couldn't shake the cobwebs from her head as she and her new husband went through the motions of the standard post wedding ceremony. The glowing bride smiled as she accepted congratulations from the few family members and friends of the groom who had shown up at the hastily announced union. For some reason, Jon had decided not to invite anyone, including her mom or her best friend, Karyn. All of that seemed unimportant for now, though. Cloud Nine seemed even too far down on the scale of bliss to measure how she felt about this day, and, more importantly, about this man she was so madly in love with.

She smiled radiantly up at her husband as he led her during the traditional first dance. Earl Wilson, her husband, looked down at Jon, smiled and pulled his new wife closer as they continued to dance. Jon felt positively warm all over as her husband held her. Soon, a few other couples had joined around them, but for Jon there were only two people in the room.

Jon, still half euphoric, went over the recent events that had led up to her marriage to this wonderful man. It seemed like a life time ago when she had switched bodies with Sarah McMillan, the school bitch. Sarah, for all Jon knew, was still in Jon's old body back in his hometown and still believed she had been Jon all her life, with all of his memories save for those of the stone. Jon remembered just then that Earl still had her stone, but she didn't panic. Jon trusted her husband, afterall. She remembered the last wish Earl had made; how he had wished Jon to be his loving and caring wife. Jon laughed silenty to himself at the foolishness of that wish. She already loved Earl with all her heart, and she would have readily agreed to marry him if he would only ask.

Finally, and none too soon, Jon thought, the newlyweds left the chapel hand-in-hand, but not before Jon threw her bouquet over her back, as was the custom, and it was caught by one of Earl's cousins. Jon was led by her husband into a black limousine, and the two were chauffeured off back to Earl's farm. Jon wished Earl could have afforded a more glamormous honeymoon, but she didn't hold it against her husband. She loved him for who he was.

As if reading his wife's mind, Earl spoke up and, while holding the stone, said, "I wish my wife and I were on an all expense paid, two week honeymoon vacation in Hawaii, in the finest resort the islands have to offer."
