Karyn walked up to Jon's front door and rang the doorbell, but no one was coming to the door. That was odd. Jon should have been home by now. They had planned to discuss how Jon's day dressing and acting like a girl had gone. But clearly, Jon was somewhere else right now. But where?
She removed a hidden key from beneath a rock nearby, then used it to open the door. She then headed up to Jon's bedroom to grab the wishing stone. Once she got it (fortunately, Jon hid it away in the same place he hid everything else he wanted to keep secret ... which Karyn knew about, of course), she wished to know where he was, then smiled, realizing that he was currently at the mall with Sarah McMillan, who was trying to help give Jon a make-over.
Karyn wondered if she should swing by the mall and help out. Normally, Sarah wouldn't socialize with a girl like Karyn, but the wishing stone might help with that.
