"Jon," Karyn started, "Look, can we talk more about this tomorrow? I need to get back to the office, if I don't answer the studios calls and emails you won't have a job lined up when this one ends."
Jon nodded, for a couple seconds, understanding that his friend had her own things to worry about, before he completely understood what she had just said.
"Office? Studio? Karyn, what the hell are you talking about?" he asked.
"Jon," Karyn said exausted by the conversation "being your manager and publicist is hard enough without you giving me a hard time about this again."
"A-Again?" Jon questioned.
"UGH! Jon!" she spat "I need an office, the studio was nice enough to give me a space on the lot here while you're on the job, but I can't just hang out with you all day answering emails with my phone! I'm so tired of this argument, Jon! You make more than enough to hire a manager and a publicist, but you've argued that I'm more than capable of doing both, and thank you for paying me accordingly, but you need to understand that if I'm going to keep your career alive I'm going to need to have meetings with people in an office, and not a starbucks."
"You're right Karyn." Jon said, understanding that he needed her on his side and would do whatever it took to keep her calm and reasonable. "You need an office. Make it so, I'll pay for it."
Jon was wondering just how much money he was making that he could afford all this. Obviously, as his Manager, Karyn would know. But it seemed that his last wish for Karyn to be here in Hollywood with him had an unforseen consequence of making her work for him. These wishes were getting completely out of hand, and he knew he needed to be way more careful in the future with the stone.
"Really?" Karyn's posture and tone immediately softened. "You're seriously on board with this?" she now sounded excited.
"Yeah Karyn, you know I want whats best for you. You're my only friend here, I can't afford to have you mad at me." he said meekly.
Before he knew what happened, Karyn was on top of him, holding him in a tight hug. He could feel his fake breasts pushing against her very real ones. It made him slightly uncomfortable and slightly arroused at the same time.
"Jon, Thank you!" she then released the hug and held him at arms length. "But I'm not your only friend, Scarlett has become such a good friend to you ever since you started working with you. It's your job to make her look good, and she appreciates it so much, you know that. You two hang out all the time, more than you an me. But thats probably because I'm working so hard for you." and then she smiled and winked, and hugged him again.
Jon thought for a moment, about his original wish. He had wanted to be friends with Scarlett, and it seemed that, at the least, that part of the wish had worked out.
"Okay, Jon." Karyn said, moving toward the door. "I've got to go. But I'll see you tomorrow! Don't forget there is a call time of 10 am, you're doing some cool motorcycle stuff, I'm told, so rest up!" Karyn blew him a Hollywood kiss as she left the trailer, and Jon sat for a couple more minutes in stunned silence, as he looked around the trailer.
"Wait..." he said to himself "Where do I live?"
