Over the last hour, Jennifer's opinion on shopping had made an entire turn around from what it had been as Jon. Clothes shopping had been something she'd tolerated as Jon, but it was SO much better as Jennifer. It helps when you have a better canvas to work with, she thought smugly as she posed for Karyn, Zoe and Leona. She was trying on a ruffled blue off the shoulder dress that looked super cute on her if she said so herself. "What do you think?"
"You look awesome, sis, Karyn's totally drooling," Zoe joked earning a playful punch from Karyn in return. "Am not," Karyn retorted, while blushing furiously, "but it looks great babe. You should totally get it!"
Leona gave her a big thumbs up, "It's a winner Jenn, it's a perfect spring look!" The newly minted cheerleader had been surprised by the sudden knowledge of fashion that accompanied her new form, but was rolling with it. Even if this all turned out to be some strange dream, it was a delightful one. Having friends was fantastic, and just the feeling of existing with her new athletic body was like a high.
"Aw, you guys are so sweet," Jenn cooed, "but it's a little pricey, I'm not sure."
Zoe raised an eyebrow quizzically, "Are you sure, I didn't think it was that expensive." She got up to check the price tag, "Yeah, Jenn it's only 199$, totally under our limit." Oh right, I'm filthy rich now Jenn thought to herself, while privately boggling at the idea of a 200 dollar dress being inexpensive. "Oh, my bad, I'll take it then!"
Jenn wasn't the only one shopping and between the four of them, they basically took the mall by storm. She surprised herself with all the new opinions she had on clothes and found herself really getting into it as the number of bags they were carrying steadily increased. She particularly enjoyed when Karyn was the one trying on outfits and had her own turn to drool when she saw the redhead posing in a semi see-thru forest green dress with a sweet heart neckline. It was a completely novel experience in two ways, buying clothes as beautiful girl and as someone for whom money was no object.
Eventually though they needed to head home, and so the four giggling girls piled into her Tesla. Jenn was on cloud nine after the experience and not just because of the clothes now filling her trunk. Leona was a great friend, and she'd never felt closer with Zoe, who surprisingly, to her, hadn't bought a single black garment on their excursion. That wasn't even talking about Karyn, holding hands, casual kisses, leaning on each other while the other's change, Jennifer felt herself falling in love with her best friend even more.
After they got situated, they set off for Leona's house, with the memory of where it was luckily coming to Jenn's mind. They'd drop her off before heading to the Gibson Mansion, since Karyn was joining them for dinner, an apparently common occurrence. In the backseat, Zoe smiled. Jen had been acting weird that morning, but over the course of their shopping spree, she'd started acting more like herself. She was still a bit worried something was bothering her, like maybe Lily Vanderfield was messing with her again, but after awhile she was her bubbly self. Good, because anyone who messes with my big sis, messes with me!
