In Jon's large, walk-in closet Karyn stood for a few moments trying to think of a wish. She didn't really understand what Jon wanted her to do. It seemed silly just to change an aspect of his life. Like, wishing that his favorite food was sushi instead of Italian food was hardly going to have a huge impact on his life. I don't think Jon realizes just how integral music is in Zoe's lifestyle, Karyn thought. She had probably gravitated toward goth-hood simply because of a preference for that type of music and started finding other aspects of the lifestyle that appealed to her as she got into it.
So, in order to induce as drastic a change in Jon she was probably going to have to make a change in his lifestyle and, to be perfectly honest, it kind of freaked her out. Who knew what kind of affect it could have on him? Then it hit her, she could actually dictate the outcome. And, she could be playful about it as well.
"I wish that my next wish will only last for one hour once its effect becomes active," she said. "I wish that when Jon Merlin hears me say the word kingfish he will believe that he is really me trapped in Jon's body and that he is only acting like Jon because of a poorly worded wish."
