Back in Jon's room, Karyn and Jon sat down and looked at each other, amazed at what they had just witnessed. Changing just one aspect of Zoe's life, even something as seemingly insignificant as her taste in music, had radically altered her entire life. Jon doubted that the changes had even stopped with Zoe. Most likely there had been changes in the lives of everyone Zoe was connected to as well. He just hadn't had time to see those effects of his wish. It made him curious as to just how different his life could be just by tweaking certain aspects.
"Karyn, I know we're supposed to be trying to find a way to fix your predicament, but I want to try something. Do you think you could use the stone to do change something about me like I did to Zoe for a certain time period but fix it so that I remember the old and the new versions of myself once the time limit runs out?"
Karyn looked at Jon. "I guess, as long as we don't forget the important stuff," she said. "Do you have anything specific you want me to change?"
"Nah, use your imagination. You can wish in my closet so I won't hear the wish."
