Jon walked staring at his feet on the way to school. He left early to avoid as many people as possible; he had the rock in his bag, so Karyn could make a wish in an emergency. Karyn said he'd meet with him before school. Jon thought he would be able to convince her to remove the wish.

He had to look up every once in a while to cross a street or watch where he was going. As a result, he saw a few drivers and joggers, each of them causing him to shiver a little. By the time he reached the school, Jon estimated he had seen about twenty people total.

Jon went into the bathroom, for privacy and to look into a mirror. The first thing he noticed was that his hair was a little lighter, from dark brown to a sandy blond. It was also little longer, giving him a shaggy appearance. Judging by the way his clothes fit, Jon had lost another inch in height. His frame was also more thin, which was surprising since he was already really skinny. The last thing he notices was that his eyes had changed from dark brown to a light hazel color.

Jon thought about the possibilities of the wish. He took out simply becoming shorter or younger, because that wouldn't affect his hair or eyes. Judging by Karyn's personality, Jon was probably turning into a girl, probably to get back at Jon for the breast enlargement he tried to wish on her. He checked his chest and manhood; gratefully, they were still normal. He could be wrong; there were worse thing he could turn into.

Jon sent numerous text messages to Karyn, but she didn't reply until only ten minutes before class. She was in the art room; Jon would have to go through the busiest hallway to get to her. Jon smiled wryly. Of course she would do something like that.

Jon closed his eyes and walked out of the bathroom. He could hear the sound of lockers opening and closing and students talking to each other.

"Out of the way," Jon said as he stayed close to the wall. He could make it most of the way without seeing anybody. A few people laughed at him and called him names, but Jon ignored them.

When he was almost to the art room, somebody shoved him from behind. Jon fell to the floor and opened his eyes out of surprise. He looked around to see who pushed him, but the only thing he could see are a few people snickering or looking away not wanting to get involved. The strong shiver notified him of his mistake; he probably saw another twenty people.

Jon cursed under his breath and ran the rest of the way to the art room, seeing about ten more people. He was up to about fifty people so far.
