Adam went back inside to pick up his books, hoping that the costume he picked up wasn't cursed. He kept thinking about the crown that appeared on his head; the glittery tiara meant for fairy princesses that had escaped the bag. Maybe it was just a prank someone pulled on him somehow. Or maybe . . .
As Adam walked down the hall he felt something brush against his neck and ears. He reached to push it away and then realized it was hair. Long wavy blonde hair with touches of princess pink. Then he noticed his legs felt colder, exposed, and he looked to see he was wearing the fairy costume with it's poofy white skirt and glittery pink top. There was a wand in his hand out of the blue, and bubblegum pink tights wrapped around his legs.
Panic over took the half-boy/half-fairy and he started to run to his room. But it seemed like every step he took was shorter than the one before it. His door never really came closer. And the hallway kept getting bigger. The gray carpeting was now more like a field of grass to him. This was impossible. Totally impossible, and yet it was totally real. Adam let out a cry for help which sounded quite feminine, but at this very juncture being female was the least of Adam's concerns.
She stopped running when the shrinking stopped and Adam found she was just a few inches tall. A true fairy in every sense of the word. While she stared ahead at the door to her room that was a mile away, Adam never realized she had stopped right in front of her sisters room, and that the doorknob high above her head was starting to turn
