"I wish," said Jon, "that Karen stayed loyal to her friendship to me and managed to convince Sarah to leave me alone."
Unlike every other major wish the stone would ever make, this one worked perfectly. "Hey!" shouted Karyn. "You don't pick who the losers are!"
"What do you mean?" asked Sarah innocently.
"I mean," said Karyn, "that if Jon is my friend, he's not a loser. He's OK in my books, and he'd better be OK in yours - unless you want to end up like Carol Hardenberger."
"Okay," said Sarah, now trembling slightly, and walked away.
Later, Jon managed to catch up to Karyn. "Who's Carol Hardenberger?"
"I don't know," said Karyn. "I just made it up, to be honest."
"By the way," said Jon, "I think I managed to find out a way to make spells reversible."
"Code words?" asked Karyn?
"You said it!" replied Jon.
"So what should we do, honey?"
Noticing the last word, Jon began to ponder the possibilities.
