He had reached his table on autopilot still thinking about Cassie, sitting down in his normal seat he reached for his lunch and found that the table was occupied by a girl and a boy. Who were not Jon and Karyn........Obviously...
To try and save himself from embarrassment he tried to make it seem he came to this table on the sole purpose to talk to these two people, of which he had no clue who they were whereas he was sure he knew of everyone in the school. Oh well all or nothing.
"Hey nice to meet you I'm Jon." said Jon offering out his hand
The girl and boy looked at each other for a moment then the boy replied "Yeah, we know"
"Oh, well, sorry no offence but I seem to have forgotten your names." - Jon
Jon's hand was still held out and now he was thinking he has furthered his embarrassment by being left hanging.
He saw Karyn sit down at the a popular table with 2 girls she motioned for Jon to come join her, Jon nodded then suddenly the girl clasped his hand and shook.
"I am Amanda Fit and this is my Brother Ricky its a pleasure to meet you, we only just moved here yesterday."
"Oh I thought you said you knew me"
Ricky talked this time "We know of you"
"Oh right, nice. Well now you know me and I know you. I have to go now, it seems I am being summoned. See ya another time Ricky, MissFit stay out of trouble." Jon said with a wink and left the table
Amanda Giggled a little and Jon smiled.
What the hell was that, where did that come from, normally Jon would be too embarrassed to talk to a cute girl like Amanda in that sort of situation, Never mind recovering from an accident into meeting a cute girl. Someone must have made a wish the stone and made Jon confident.
Jon Sat down opposite Karyn.
"He's quite strange" said Ricky
"Yes, but despite his school status he still made time to welcome newcomer's to the school and I think that was nice of him" replied Amanda
"Eh, you're right I suppose"
Another two girls and a guy sat down at the table Jon just left.
"OMG, you know Jon." said one
"You guys are sooo cool" Said the other
