Sitting there thinking Karyn started to noticed the glances she was getting from both guys and girls....strange... but the weirdest thing was some of the glances were directed at Jon a couple of girls checking him out and a couple of guys showing jealousy.
"Jon. Did you make another wish on the stone last night" Asked Karyn
"No, how." replied Jon
"Oh, maybe its nothing. Oh well class is soon starting better go." said Karyn
"Yeah Karyn, see ya later" replied Jon
As Karyn was walking away a couple of girls joined up with her. She recognized one of them as Erika Webber, she is a nice girl but is really chatty plus she is the editor of the school paper so is recognized as the gossip which is her nick name around school. Ironically she doesn't know she is nicknamed Gossip.
"Sooooo..... What's the news?" Erika asked
"What news?" replied Karyn
"With you and Jon. Are you dating again?" said Erika
"Dating!?!...wait, wait!. Again?!? when did we date the first time" - Karyn
"Oh come on Karyn, you show no interest in any guys around school but spend a lot of time with Jon it is so obvious you are secretly dating...." - Erika
"No we are not, we are just friends." - Karyn
"Oh so he's free?" Came a voice from behind Karyn, it was Jessica Stevens, she was eavesdropping
"Free? you mean single.... Uh sure...I think....Why, do you want to date him?" - Karyn
"Well I think he's nice and have been interested in him for a while but I didn't want to do anything that would jeopardize you and him. But as long as your sure there is nothing going on between you two, would you mind asking him if he will go out with me? I would do it myself but your tight with him and it will increase my chances." - Eavesdropper
"Uh sure.." - Karyn
"Thanks Karyn, you're the best" - Eavesdropper
She and her friend split off from the group leaving only Karyn and Erika.
