I thought about what I should do. I could probably be pretty creative. If I was going to have fun, then I would need some sort of game. I smiled as I thought of something interesting.
Calling Mrs. Mire by her first name, I said quietly, "Patty, in five minutes, you will start a trivia game with the whole class. Patty, split the class into four even teams and have one member from each team participate in every round. Patty, give the person who loses a round a punishment card that will change that person into what is written on the card. Patty, make sure you stay calm and make sure the game does not stop and no one leaves the classroom until class is over." The class still had over an hour left.
Sure enough, after five minutes, Mrs. Mire announced to the class they were going to play a game and they should split into four even teams. There were sixteen people in the class, so four people in each group:
Team 1: Fred (shy guy), Sally (opinionated girl), Derek (snowboarder guy), and Jane (me).
Team 2: Hailey (smart quiet girl), Andy (class clown guy), Patrick (loud nerdy guy), and Eve (popular kind girl).
Team 3: Walt (jock guy), Nichole (pretty but airhead girl), Terrance (a guy who always stutteres), Carly (teacher's pet girl)
Team 4: Liz (smart, but cocky girl), Quinn (lazy guy), Ben (know-it-all annoying guy), Mary (tomboy)
The people I got along best in the class were Fred, Hailey, Mary, and Quinn, although they had no idea who I was. Mrs. Mire called one person from each group to the front to begin the first round.
