As they were walking down the stairs, Karyn got an idea. "Hey, Jon. Maybe there's a way to make your new device ... better?"
When they reached the ground floor, Jon turned around. "What do you mean?"
"Maybe add a function that allows you to mix personalities together. I mean, no one really has one specific personality, right? I mean, I'm sure that there are Goths who are also geeks, or geeks who are into sports. You know, that sort of thing."
"That's ... actually a good idea. Wait here," he said, before giving the device to Karyn and heading back up the stairs. Once he was back in his room, he retrieved the stone and made a wish.
Downstairs, Karyn was looking through the list of personalities, before selecting one. A split second later, a screen popped up, asking if she wanted to add another personality to the one selected, with a YES and NO listed. Jon obviously had made his wish. More than that, Jon now made it so that the personality manipulator could combine up to five personalities!
A minute later, Jon came back downstairs, having left the stone in his bedroom again.
