Pete grabbed the stone from Jon and said "I wish that Karyn not only wants to be my friend again, but also is deeply in love with me and will do whatever I say."
As the stone glowed, Jon yelled out "No! I didn't mean for you to repeat it!"
"What just happened?" Pete asked, breaking out of his momentary daze.
"Hey, you stud," they heard Karyn say suddenly.
Jon and Pete turned and saw Karyn. She was sauntering up to them. Well, actually, she was sauntering up to Pete, who she now thought was her boyfriend.
"No!" Jon yelled. "This wasn't what was supposed to happen."
Karyn looked in his direction, annoyed. Then turned back to Pete, hugging him, then giving him a kiss. "Come on, Pete. Let's get out of here. I want some alone time with my boyfriend."
"Really? Who's that?" Pete asked.
"You, silly," she said.
Then they both walked off. Karyn was deeply in love with Pete and Pete was just plain confused.
Jon clenched his hands even more. If he was just angry before, now he was furious.
