Jon nodded, reluctantly. "Can I look at it for a moment?" He examined it and handed it back to her, not willing to play with it yet.
She was about to ask him what they might wish for when she was interrupted by a high-pitched laugh.
Sarah McMillan, head cheerleader and class-A bitch, was wandering across the yard followed by her usual entourage of drooling, over muscled football players and other assorted testosterone-fueled flunkies.
Karyn glared at her. "Can you explain to me why men are so shallow? Everyone knows that McMillan is a total bitch and yet, because she has blond hair and big tits, every guy in the school spends half his life dribbling down her cleavage."
"Not every guy," Jon said. But Karyn noticed that saying that didn't stop him from what she thought was an appreciative look at aforementioned cleavage.
"Okay, most guys. There's only one of her; why can't she just pick one and let the rest of us have a go?" She sighed.
Jon grinned. "Got your eye on anyone in particular?" he asked, trying to sound nonchalant.
She scowled. She didn't know if that meant he was interested in him, or wanted to know which of Sarah's entourage she found attractive. "No. Just a general feeling. God, I wish..."
