Now that Fighter was born, he could pair with Champion. Champion was bubbly and nuzzled against the newly born cyborg. Fighter looked confused. "What is your AEP designation?" he asked. Champion happily gave his name to the new member. Fighter was not satisfied with the answer. Connie and Peyton ripped their brother away from Champion. They were very territorial with their siblings. Ashton, Riley, Kendall and Lola were not allowed to be with Champion. I was their father and did not care. I made sure that they all played with Champion a bit when he was feeling well. If Peyton and Connie saw them playing with Champion, they would try to take them away. If they saw I was around, they would just pout and demand the others go with them. I would not dismiss them until they were done playing with Champion. Whether they liked it or not, they were a team now. Star 01 paired up with a reluctant Pass 01. That left Beer 01 with Pump 01. Star 01 was the go-getter of the 4 vassal AEP units. We did not treat them either better or worse than the core members. They were precious allies.
They all were mixed with both heat and radioactive organs. Star 01 had his heat organ in his throat. That allowed him to breathe fire. He could also shoot 3 radioactive projectiles from each of his hands at a time. Beer 01 was the inverse. 3 Baseball sized balls of fire came out from each of his hands. Pump 01 had one pressurized hose that spewed radioactive sludge and another that spit jets of fire. Pass 01 could blast fire from his chest. He also could generate radioactive bombs from his stomach. The organ reminded me of someone. They were only half as possible as Dylan's though. It was cool to see them all in action in the dojo. They were almost ready to go off to the Foundry. In order to celebrate, we threw them all a party. They all got to name an activity that they wanted to do. Because some of them were more worldly than others, there was a big gap in ambition between them. For example, Star 01, Beer 01, Pump 01 and Pass 01 only wanted to take a spare ammo, and energy and health pack each with them from storage. Robin wanted to dance at the Red Grind as the main act.
Connie and Peyton wanted to take their Ashton, Lola, Riley and Kendall on a trip to a tourist attraction in Volta City. Champion and Fighter, also being siblings, wanted to go as well. With that being the case, we allowed them to go as long as they swore to keep each other safe and keep a low profile. Tracie and Barbara wanted to go to another tourist attraction with me in Neo-Rutten City. I was not opposed to it. Sterling and Ashley wanted to go to the zoo and look at animals. They got curious about it after watching TV in their apartments. Aubrey and Christopher said they wanted to find love. That was out of left field. Paul Brett and I had no clue how to answer that. It was a very complex request. We just moved on. Since a lot of them wanted to take trips, I said "You will all get to go out for 1 week. You can do as you like as long as you keep in touch with us. Before you go, we need to give you all the upgrades. All the vassal AEP units can join in at the AEP lab as well. We want you to be the best of the best." That got a round of applause from everyone from the vassal clans. It was a boon.
