Even if we wanted to help them, there was nothing that we could do at this point. We had gotten the new X-frames already. The wall had already gone up as well. "They probably only have the general plans. I don't know if they are going to confederate or not, but you have the same blueprint. Just go build your own." I said. They glared at me. Neither of them had it. Wind Clan and Magnetic Clan hoarded it for themselves. I smiled. "Okay. I'll give you each one half of the 6 blueprints for a XX-frame. You can collaborate or just do your own research. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Will that smoothe things over between us?" I apologized. They accepted it after making it clear that they were in the right and that it was our duty to do better. They even said "even though you're a lowly human." in their acceptance speeches. I was just shocked at the display. The general plans, the systems and neurooptics went to Cold Clan. The chassis as well as the cockpit and the power core went to Pierce Clan. It was worth a lot. They left relatively happy. I let Lightning Clan know that they were discovered.
Because we were allies, we were obligated to defend them from attacks. There was still some time left over. I had Sunny and Lucy use the new X-frames to make a new electric AEP unit for the clan. This one would be a companion specifically for my new son Champion. A few days after that, the vassals gave birth to their 3 AEP units. It was a good time for them. Clans with members that had an x-womb also gave birth to their PEA unit. They were all identical in each clan. One was sent over to our clan building in order to take everything to the Foundry together. All our AEP units and Champion would be going with them. They did not need to be here so soon. When they arrived, we received them and told them to wait. Because they came from PEP clans, they did not have actual names. They were all given the moniker "01". We needed to change that. They were given their clan names to set them apart. That made them Star 01, Beer 01, Pump 01 and Pass 01. We were still waiting for the new AEP unit to be born now. We had all the time in the world to wait. No one was as close as us to the goal.
When the AEP was born, Paul banned me and Brett from the AEP lab. He wanted to be the one to fuck around and determine its name and look. Neither of us were too happy to see the whole clan blocking the whole floor. We could not even make it down the hallway to see the rock garden. No matter what we said to them, they stood firm. Some members were more sympathetic to us than others. That did not stop them from stopping us. We decided to hang out on the top level. It really did not matter much to me. This one was made to be Champion's partner and companion. When it was said and done, we were finally able to see the new member of the clan. He was dressed like a mixed martial artist. His electric organs allowed him to make an electric field within 10 yards. It was able to charge allies or shock enemies. That was good with me. If Champion ever got damaged to the point of leaking, it would only be a charge away to stabilize him. Paul had decided to name him Fighter. He did look like someone that could fight. I called Connie and Peyton. They were half siblings. They embraced.
