Meanwhile, back at Erin's place, Olivia was flirting with the guys while they showed her some of Erin's interests. Leonard tried to explain anime and Dungeons and Dragons to her, which she found amusing, but she was gracious throughout, appreciating Leonard's and Erin's geeky pastimes a bit more.
Suddenly, she turned to Brody. "Why did you dump me, Brody?" she asked, a hint of hurt in her voice. "Was it the sex?"
Brody was taken aback by the question. He never thought about it that way before, but now that Olivia mentioned it, he realized that the sex wasn't the best he'd ever had. But he also knew that there were other factors at play.
"No, it wasn't just the sex," he admitted. "You were always so focused on yourself, and you never really seemed to care about what I wanted or needed. It just wasn't working out between us."
Olivia nodded, understanding. She was not used to being so self-aware, and she found that she actually felt a little bit guilty for the way she’d treated Brody.
"I'm sorry," she said, surprising herself with the sincerity in her voice. "I never really thought about things from your perspective. I was just so wrapped up in my own drama that I couldn't see what was right in front of me."
Brody looked at her, surprised by the apology. He never thought he'd see the day when Olivia would admit she was wrong about anything. He smiled at her, and for a moment, things between them felt almost like they used to.
"It's okay," he said. "I'm sure we both learned a lot from our relationship. And who knows? Maybe this body swap will be the best thing that ever happened to us."
Olivia thanked Brody for his honesty and suggested maybe they could try again when she was back in her own body. Brody nodded, noticeably interested, at which point Olivia gave him the biggest sincere smile Brody had ever seen from her, even if it was coming from Erin's dolled up face.
Then Olivia wheeled on Leonard. "Ok, Leonard, that's settled. Now that I have a date for tomorrow, it's time for you and I to have one tonight." Caught off guard, Leonard spit out the water he'd been drinking.
"Leonard," Olivia said, a mischievous glint in her eye. "I've figured something out about you this evening. You've got a major crush on Erin, and I think she feels the same way about you. So, I'm going to do you a favor and give you a little tutoring lesson on how to please Erin's body."
Leonard's face turned bright red, and he started to stammer out an excuse, but Olivia cut him off.
"Relax, Leonard," she said, patting his arm. "I'm just messing with you. I know you're not really into me like that. But I do think we could have some fun tonight, just the two of us. And I can help you learn a few things that will make Erin happy when she’s back in her own body."
Leonard looked at her, still a little bit flustered, but also a little bit intrigued. He'd always had a bit of a crush on Erin, but he never thought he'd have a chance with her. Now, with Olivia offering to help him out, he felt like he might actually have a shot.
"Uh, sure," he said, trying to sound casual. "I'd like that. What did you have in mind?"
Olivia grinned, feeling a little bit more like herself now that she'd managed to turn the tables on Leonard. She was not used to being the one doing the teaching, but she was finding that she kind of liked it.
"How about we start with a little bit of hands-on practice?" she said, winking at him. "And then we'll see where the night takes us."
Leonard nodded, feeling a little bit nervous but also excited. He was not sure exactly what he was getting himself into, but he was willing to take a chance. As the two of them cuddled up on the couch, he couldn’t help but wonder what the future held for him and Erin.
Brody, impressed by Olivia's generosity, offered to leave them alone. "Don't do anything I wouldn't do," he said to Olivia with a wink.
