With this, we had taken 2 more transmission hubs for the Researchers faction. Now that we were at 4 hubs instead of just 2, our power over the continent had grown a massive amount. We had to take Heat Clan's call. They were very angry with us. We had kicked off a major civil war between the Researcher and Conqueror factions. It was bad. Any of the Conquerors could attack Heat or Radioactive Clan at any moment. "What are you guys going to do if we get attacked!? Now that we're in war, you better expect to be moved on our signal." the leader screamed. He then hung up on us. We got off the phone and frowned. We really did not want any of that. "Let's get in good with the clans we got allied with." I offered. "What? Just give it back?" Brett accused. I shrugged and said "We don't care about war. We just had grudges. Now that they are dead, we can just call Cold and Pierce Clan. We get in good with them. They get to be war heroes. We all win in the end." Paul thought it over. "Yeah. I guess the Cold Clan is cool. They let me fuck them." Paul and Brett then called them up.

Both clans jumped on the chance to retake the transmission hubs. Cold Clan went to Water Clan. They were able to clear house with overwhelming force. Pierce Clan's plan had to use Volition Clan as cover as they disguised all of their AEP units as inspectors. The subterfuge allowed them to take the hub with little difficulty. Heat Clan tried to get us to stop them, but we got there just a moment too late. Heat Clan hated us, but Pierce and Cold Clans were now very friendly with the non-human members of the clan. We tried to get them to call off the war. They said they would try. A meeting was called to discuss the war. With 2 clans of the faction missing and 2 on our side, the Researchers were offered a white peace. Heat Clan and Radioactive Clan readily accepted it. However, things could not stay in the bottle now that it was out. It triggered a war era in the game. The Conqueror faction then set their sights on the Advocate faction. Mason knew Sebastion, and we had allied ourselves with Void Clan at Location A. When we got word that the Advocates would be attacked, we supported them.

Guns and money were sent over there constantly. Aside from us and Volition Clan, who took our equipment during our quid pro quo relationship days, they had the most advanced tech. Mason was leaking it all. I gave a blind eye to that part. Sebastion came over to our clan building personally to get each crate of weapons and credits. A risky move as a clan leader, but we made sure he was protected. Mason took the opportunity to talk to him and reminisce about his childhood together with the tall PEP unit. Being one of the Advocate faction, Sebastion was genuinely nice to Mason. However, his nature of as a cyborg meant that he was ultimately loyal to his cause. After an hour of talking, he would get the crates packed up and leave. When a bit of tech was given by Mason, Sebastion was a bit worried. "Oh Mason. Is this okay with your engineer?" he would always ask. Mason would lie and say I gave him permission. To be honest, as long as it was only Void Clan, it would be okay. Family was important to me. If he had a family member under the barrel of a gun, he should use his power to help.
