He looked at me for a bit before saying "You like to fuck AEP units, right? I bet you don't care how it feels for us." From the look I was getting, he was challenging me. He had been following me for a reason. I shook my head. "I care." I said seriously. Tracie and Barbara both defended me. Dylan took his time as he looked me up and down with his eyes. "If you fucked me, would I like it?" he asked. I looked at him and said "No. You don't like the sensation. Some do and some don't. That is fine. I won't force myself on you or make you feel like you need to have sex. I can hang out with you without doing stuff like that." He looked shocked that I would say that. He tightened up the hoodie and stopped talking to me. I gave him some space. Tracie and Barbara followed me on the dance floor. At some point, Dylan came back to us and told us he wanted to go back to the clan building. The party was still going on, but I could leave it easily for Dylan. We left together and walked back to the hospital. He went inside and we went back to the clinic. I was wondering just how long we would all have to wait here.
It was not too much longer. After another week in-game, people had stopped talking about it on the news. We could go back. Dylan was still following me around. "You really don't want to have sex with me?" he asked seriously one day. I just looked at him. "No. I know you don't like it. Why would I ask you for that when I have others that really like it?" I said. He reached behind himself and pulled out a fist sized bomb. "I want you to try." he said. I shook my head. "Are you threatening me with that bomb? I really don't want to." He furrowed his brow. "Humans do it all the time. Why not you and now?" he asked. I pat him on the head for a bit. Dylan glared at the hand, but he made no move to remove it. "I like you, Dylan. That means respecting what you want with your body. I can't tell your clan to treat you nicely, but I don't want to hurt your feelings by putting you in a position where you feel bad or uncomfortable." That was true. He just turned away and said "Fine. I will accept that answer. Do what you want then." After he said that, Dylan left us. "We can still hang out here though!" I called after him.
The trip back to Dwan Town was easy. The 13 of us got in some fancy sedans and drove back together. Erin and Finian were fixed up at the clinic and waiting to return with us. They would not be able to go back to the police station for their job. That was dead and gone. I never asked what happened to Nathan. I did not really care. If he died or was left behind, that was not my concern. Tracie and Barbara were in the backseat with me in our car. It was Ashley driving with Sterling riding shotgun. We made our way home and it was then that they all got their reward except for Robin. We never got to sabotage the charging port. I did not think we would be able to anytime soon. They got money and a very special perk. It was not our transmission hub that gave the mission. 12-001 orchestrated the trap with their clan's hub. It took bussing them out for them to get the mission. None of them were supposed to make it back alive. After such a long showdown with all those casualties though, the magnetic transmission hub had no choice but to pay out. Not only that but pay an exponentially high rate.
For their trials and tribulations, they got a secret blueprint. It was encrypted and barely legible. It was probably an extremely late game piece of tech we should not even have the concept for. Maybe even end game. As the clan engineer, I had to look at it and research it. I put it in the lab and began to process. After 3 days, it became legible. It took another 3 days for the lab to get passed the encryption. It was a general blueprint for something called the "XX-frame" There was nothing more to go on. I actually had to go to the library to figure out what that was. I was not an idiot though. I made sure to fabricate a copy. The librarians were flabbergasted. It took them a week to get back to me on it. They said it was for the summoning of the AEA units. The blueprint was confiscated as we were not allowed to have it until the faction had control of 9 transmission hubs. I did not care about that rule at all. I was a human with my own copy. The Conquerors already started the game with 8. That meant if they took one from the Advocates or the Researchers, they would all begin to create the AEA units.
