When Karyn arrived at her house, she stopped and breathed heavily. She had never run so fast in her life, and her larger breasts made it even more difficult for her.
After catching her breath, she went inside and nearly fainted dead away when she saw her mom. Bethany Black, a redhead like Karyn, wasn't beautiful or even sexy, but she was pretty enough. And that was fine enough for Karyn's father, who married her for her personality, not her looks. But the Bethany that Karyn saw now was not the same one she remembered. This one had long blond hair, large breasts, and a killer figure. And she dressed a lot more provocatively than Karyn had ever seen before - a tight pink blouse, a white miniskirt, and pink heels.
"Hi, honey," her mom said, walking into the foyer. But then she stopped. "What are you wearing?"
Karyn looked down at the outfit she had on since that morning - a green sweatshirt, brown slacks, and sneakers. It was really no different than her usual getup.
"Change out of those filthy clothes before someone sees you. You don't want to ruin your image."
Karyn was shocked. At first she thought that Sarah and Chris were just messing around with her. But her mother was clearly different. Not only did she look different, but she also acted different too. Something strange was going on here, and she had a feeling that it might have something to do with the wishing stone that Jon showed her earlier.
She took a few steps backwards towards the hallway, then turned and ran to her bedroom.
Bethany shook her head. "What's with that girl?" she muttered.
