It took quite some work and a handful of calls, but the first of many appointments was finally upon Annita. While she wasn't scared, the elderly woman was a touch nervous.
"You ready to do this, mom?" Delia inquired, getting a nod from Annita in return. For the moment, the pair were walking down the path from their home to the plastic surgery place.
"Of course, dear." Annita answered and took a deep breath. This was a major step she was about to take on this journey. There was no going back to the life of Ash Ketchum. Not that the boy trainer actually meant anything to her these days. He was just a memory of times that weren't so good.
Plastic Surgery place coming into view, the pair picked up the pace. They were in for quite a bit of wait for this procedure. Especially with this just being the first of many procedures.
Inside, the whole place was relatively quiet. Sure, there were a couple people waiting around. But none of were really paying attention to the pair.
So Annita and Delia sat themselves down. Leafing through the provided magazines, there isn't really anything interesting to look at. Not that either woman really minds that.
"Annita?" the receptionist called up, our elderly woman standing up. Giving Delia a look, she heads up to the door. But not before taking a deep breath.
"Coming."
