Yuki walked the halls, feeling a bit better for having a chance of getting rid of that stuck up Australian bitch. She hoped the new girl she'd been told would be moving into the empty room in her suite would be someone who wouldn't give her any trouble.
She would be meeting her later, she imagined. She wasn't sure why anyone would transfer in so late in the year. Yuki smiled, amused. Maybe she got thrown out of somewhere?
If she could just get one half-decent roommate, she could live with that. As she walked the halls, her stride increased, as she gained a bit of height.
Meanwhile, Melissa slipped into a nearby bathroom and locked herself into one of the stalls. Her clothes were practically slipping off of her. Her bra hung loosely on her chest, and she'd shrunk several inches. She slipped out of all of it, leaving it on top of the toilet stall.
Searching around, she found a bag that had been abandoned by someone. She opened it, finding simple cotton undergarments, a long plain skirt, stockings, and a simple white blouse. She sighed, slipping into them. They seemed to fit her perfectly. She slung the simple bag over her shoulder, leaving her designer bookbag behind and headed toward the mirror, her distinctive red hair darkening to jet black as she tied it back. Rooting around in the bag, she found a pair of glasses, which she slipped on, then off.
She didn't need them all the time, she remembered. Just to see the board. Unsure of what had been bothering her a moment ago, she slipped out of the bathroom and walked right into...Yuki.
Melissa looked up at who she'd bumped into and her mind whirled in confusion as it tried to reconcile the plain and timid Japanese girl with this sexy and mature looking teen in front of her. The latter image won out over the former and she blushed as she realized she was staring up at Yuki.
Yuki looked down at her. "Where are you going in such a hurry?" She said.
Melissa felt suddenly self-conscious, and shifted from foot to foot. "To class."
"To class, what?" Yuki said.
Melissa looked at her blankly.
"Didn't you learn any manners whereever you're from, munchkin? You say, To class, Miss."
"Miss?" Melissa asked, confused.
"Exactly. Now, hurry up, you don't want to be late. Shoo." Melissa scampered off.
"Playing with the younger kids again?" A voice asked from nearby.
Yuki grinned at Melony. "How are they ever going to learn otherwise?"
"I have the rest of the day off. My uncle got whacked, and...why not take advantage of it, right?"
Yuki was about to respond when someone backed into both of them. "Oof!"
They turned around, and saw Lauren Levine. She looked majorly freaked out by something. Melony and Yuki may have not been the nicest girls in the school, but they weren't soulless. "What's wrong?" Melony asked. Lauren was one of her roommates.
"I'm sorry," said Lauren. "I ..."
"Are you okay?" Yuki asked.
"No," replied Lauren. "Everyone's changing! Even you ... Yuki!?"
"My name's not Yuki," she replied. "It's Juliet. What kind of name is Yuki?"
Lauren stared at both of them. "No..." she said. "This is all wrong. Everything's wrong."
She's having a major freakout, Yuki, now Juliet thought. "What's wrong?" She asked.
"You're supposed to be Asian, and barely speak English. And she's black, and I...suddenly I'm big as a house, and my hair's changed."
Is she on drugs or something? Juliet wondered as Lauren rambled incoherently, clearly agitated. Juliet wasn't exactly a choir girl, but she never got into drugs.
Melony rifled through Lauren's dropped bag and came out with a small bottle of pills. "Diet Pills. Figures."
Juliet grabbed Lauren's arm. "Get her other arm. We're taking her to the Nurse's office before she passes out."
Melony did so. They urged Lauren along the hallway, as she rambled on all sorts of nonsense about cheerleading, and how the school was changing, and how her BFF Tiffany had called her a cow. She had this glazed look of shock and confusion on her face.
They got her into the Nurse's office and urged her into a chair. Lauren could hear Juliet loudly explained to someone that she'd 'overdosed on diet pills' and was 'freaking out' They would never believe her now. She found it hard to believe it herself.
Juliet returned to the room followed by someone in a white lab coat. Lauren stared. It was Lucy Corinth. It was too much for Lauren. She passed out.
