Jessica stared as her younger sister practically flipped the bed's mattress over, growing more distraught with every second. "Jen, what on earth are you doing?"

The other girl seemed too lost in her own problems to notice the question. One by one, she picked over every piece of bed clothing but came up empty-handed. "Where is it?" She kept muttering. "Where is it? Where is it!?"

Not to be ignored any longer, Jessica strode over. Grabbing her sister by the shoulders, she spun her around to face her. "Jen! Snap out of it! I've heard of wedding day jitters, but this is just "

Her words trailed off as she got a good view of Jen's face. The girl looked as if she had seen a ghost, or her own impending doom.

"What's wrong?"

As if the dam had ruptured, Jen burst into tears. She backed into a corner and sank to her knees. When Jessica reached out to touch her, the girl shuddered and swatted her hand away. "Everything's wrong! I'm not a girl. I'm Jon! And you're the one who's supposed to be getting married, not me. Now, the stone's gone! I need to find it so I can wish things back to normal!"

For a while, Jen's sobs were the only sound in the room.

"Wow. Never thought Jen could actually crack like this," commented Zoe, getting a warning glare from her eldest sister.

"Zoe, can you go tell Mom and Dad to get over here? And don't tell anyone else about this, okay?"

With a nod, Zoe left the room. Fortunately, the chapel was right next door, so their parents could make it over relatively quickly.

Once she was gone, Jessica let some of her worry show. Getting down on the floor beside her sister, she put an arm over her shoulders. "Jen. Please, don't do this to yourself. This is such an important day for you."

"But it's all wrong, Jess," Jen whimpered. "You won't believe me, but it's wrong. I have to find the stone."
