"It wasn't that ugly one my mom bought for me, was it? I mean, if I wore the stuff she buys for me...I'd look like...what did you say, an old librarian?"

"So...I'm the one who talked you out of dressing that way?"

Kyla looked at her. "I didn't think you did...but...it's weird knowing there's an alternate version of yourself out there."

"Tell me about it," Zoe said. She felt comfortable with Kyla, like she could tell her everything. Was this like her calling Jon Mom....that slipping into this alternate Zoe was so easy?

"What's different about you?"

"I just...before the wish I was angry and hurt...and crying...." she admitted. "I wished that they weren't in my life anymore. And now I just feel...good."

Kyla frowned. "Did you have and break up with a boyfriend then erase the relationship?"

"I don't want to really talk about it, okay, Ky..."

"Fine...sorry. If you change your mind...Just..." she paused. "That's all you wished for....and everything else is just butterflies...but you'd tell me if there was a big butterfly, right?"

Zoe looked at her. "If I see one...I mean, how would I know before then?" She half-lied.

Meanwhile, Jon/Amanda had finished looking through the closet when a cell phone, apparently hers, rang. She picked it up. It was a female voice. "It's Sabrina...I know you said to only call your cell phone in an emergency...but it is...I mean...I really need to talk to you?"

It sounded like Sabrina Johnson. Before the wish, she was one of Zoe's friends, despite the fact that like Stephanie, she was two years older. Every time Jon had met Sabrina, she had been hurling profanity and anger. But the voice on the phone sounded agitated more than angry, and Jon couldn't let a call for help go unanswered.

"What's wrong, Sabrina?"
