He banged his fist against the floor. "What am I still lacking here!?" he asked. I just looked at him. Colton banged his fists again on the softer portion of the floor due to the padding. Ava, Caleb and Cameron came in time to see him bang his fists. "What happened here!?" Caleb asked. "He got beaten up." Cameron said. This time, he complied with my request for him to go to his room. The others looked at me. They were individually running the calculations of how strong I was. I just smirked at them. I guess I would need to keep up appearances to stop more members from challenging me. The news of my fight for an officer role spread throughout the clan building. It was not something that could easily be suppressed. Colton decided to sulk for a bit, but the plans were still coming along. I gave it couple of in-game days but there were no signs of any PEA specific missions. Apparently, the normal PEP mission listings did not count towards their total it was beneath them. However, there was an exploit that I found and then abused. As a clan officer, I could assign members on clan missions.

As it was deemed "important by the clan" those were equally as valid as the ones the transmission hub offered. Clans were pretty autonomous in that way. They already had 5 real missions down. I just gave them busy work to do. That was really what clan missions came down to at the end of the day. Rearranging the 2 gardens were 2 missions. Giving me inventory of all the things in the labs was valid as I was clan engineer. I ostensibly needed to know that. That was another 3 missions. Now that they all were at 10 missions, we were in the home stretch. I could not send them on the same mission twice in a row. There was a cooldown on them. I could get creative when it was needed though. I had them walk around the perimeter of the town for "reconnaissance". I also had them buy and send coffee and donuts to Finian and Erin on separate days. It was done for "infiltration support" What was a cop without their breakfast of champions? That was 3 more. I just needed 2. That was when I saw them. There were 2 PEA units training in a simulation machine. One was sweating hard.

Eta
Theta

When they realized that I was looking at them, they both stepped it up and did really impressive moves. They were very motivated now. As soon as they were finished, they were chatting quietly to themselves. Every so often one of their eyes slid over to me. I was being watched just as much as I was watching them. I decided it was definitely time to end this. I walked over to them and said "Hey. Great job guys. I saw the end of that simulation." It was a pretty cool show they put on. They nodded and smiled. I asked them if they wanted to get trained by the squad and join the clan. "Of course we want to!" the sweaty one said. The other one just nodded emphatically. I took that as a yes. "Alright. Your first mission as clan members will be to train with the existing squad to get started." I told them. I just had to go get the squad together. It was easy. They were members of the clan so they could not refuse it even if they wanted to. They seemed fine with the assignments. "Your next 2 missions will just be training the new members. Eta today and Theta tomorrow." They all nodded and got to it.
