Once we were on the road, things got tricky. As we were on the road a bullet hit the glass. It was obviously for me. Too bad for them the windshield glass was bullet and shatterproof. We got out and looked around with our weapons ready to fight. It was an AEP unit that was there the last time on a new motor bike. He rode at us head on in the open. Paul told me he was from Pierce Clan. "This part of the road is their territory." Paul said. When he stopped in front of us, he frowned. "You got lucky again. It looks like we need some better weapons. That bounty on your head doubled since the last time we met." he informed me. I sighed at him and said "That's fine. No hard feelings if you leave right now. I'm on clan business. If we fight, I can't end it until one of us is dead." He looked at the new AEP units and all the others in the convoy. He knew he would not win. "Fine. I'm off." the AEP unit said. I waved at him and wished him well. "One of these days, I'm going to have to catch you 1 on 1." he muttered to himself as he walked off. I don't know if he meant for me to hear it. It would not go well.

When the coast was clear, I looked over at all the others. "It looks like I have a small bounty." They looked at us in pure confusion. It was not my concern that they got the situation. Our job was to get them to Nova City. "Let's just get all this over with!" I announced as I got back in the car. A whole day was spent driving before the AEP units offered to relieve me. We were running low on gas anyway so I agreed to switch as soon as we found a big gas station. The other car probably needed some gas too. It took some more time before we found one on the highway. It was a pitstop with a small store and public restroom attached. I thought it was cool, but it was the dead of night. I did not need anything, so I was not going to go inside. As we were going around the pumps, 2 AEP units called out to me. They both looked angry. I walked over to them and asked what was going on. There was no answer. They walked off towards the bathroom. I just looked at them. It was obviously a trap. They then motioned at me their heads. I shook my head. They looked surprised and then unsure of what to do.
