Meanwhile, back at school, Billy gently pulled on Mikey's arm. "We'd better get to class."
"Class here?" Mikey said.
"Yes, where else? Back at the Middle School?" the other kid laughed. "If you aren't coming...I'll just see you later." Billy ran off, leaving Mikey in the hallway.
Mikey started forward, still utterly confused, but was completely lost about where to go, when he spotted two Goths heading down the hall. One of them looked familiar...and he thought for a moment it might be Zoe...till he remembered Zoe had turned into a black girl. As she got closer, he recognized...Jon.
Jon was a Goth girl? He wondered if it was like Lilly...who seemed to get more boy-like. Did Jon look like a girl, or did he have girl parts? He didn't know.
Should he approach them?
From the other direction, Sarah heard Gena mutter something. "What?"
"Look who is coming our way..."
