I was in a deep, dark forest. Walking around with only a sword and leather armor, I decided to look for a way out. To that end, I needed to pick a direction and stick with it to make sure that I was not going in circles. I thought that going right would be the right choice. It was as good as any other. The path was non-existent. I tripped on the thick roots more than once. At some point, I felt my feet ripped from under me. I looked around and saw there were a series of thick white wires. They were running all over the place. I saw my legs were firmly wrapped in the substance. I used my sword to hack at it. Once I was free, I followed the wires and found a group of creatures. It was not scary at all. They all were dancing with not a single care in the world. Each of the creatures were wearing pants, but no shirts covering their upper halves. They had 4 arms, but their hands only had 3 fingers. I did not know what to make of that. Having only 12 fingers was not much better than having 10 fingers. What if they had needed to craft something very intricate. The 2 extra arms make up for it. I watched them.

When they were done, one of the began to sniff the air. "Do you smell that!? Something's close by." he asked. They others began smelling the surroundings. "There is a prey scent in the air." another one said. "Want to go look for it?" the third asked the group. They looked ready to do so. I had no clue what would happen if they found me with a hunting mindset. I went out in the open and said "Hello. I'm pretty lost." They looked at me and then came a bit closer. The one that asked about the scent came up to me directly. He stood only a foot away and smelled me before grabbing me by the arm. "This one is the one I was smelling!" he announced. The others got closer and confirmed it. "What are you!? You are not a mothkin or a kitsune. Those are the only ones that have a form with 2 legs." the third one demanded. "I'm a lost human traveler." I told them. They looked at each other. "A human!? All of the way out here?" the third said skeptically. "Maybe we should eat him." the second one offered. I just shook my head. "No thanks. I can help you. Don't you have tasks I can do for you?" I asked.

The 3 of them looked at each other. "Do you want to come live with us as our servant?" the first creature asked. The other 2 looked at me intently. I had a suspicion that I was in the hot seat. The 3 in front of me would probably all go hostile towards me if I refused. I smiled nervously. "I guess I'll go with you as your servant. Can you tell me more about you guys?" I said. They nodded and took me by the hands. I was walked around for what felt like hours as they talked to me. They were spiderkin. They owned a house on the outskirts of the big city. Zavib, Lakir and Oukeeb were the ones in front of me. They lived with 3 of their younger brothers. Nissoq and Nechix were just 5 years younger. Izeex was 10 years younger. As their servant, I was to clean the house and help with chores. I also needed to be willing and able to fight all bandits and those that wanted to attack them. As they were on the outskirts, the kitsune and mothkin could raid the area before the warriors could respond. The 3 eldest brothers were simple hunters by trade. They were not good at combat with other sentient creatures.
