Barry was so excited…

Angel was about to take her- to her room! Could the day honestly get any better? She glanced back not quite noticing her mermaid friend Susan now separated- but the goal of being… and walking alongside angel was just too much for her. Her hand was gripping the other girl’s hand…

“My room is just over here dear,” Angel gestured through the corridors of the house.

The rabbit-girl was escorted through a grand kitchen, then into a lobby. A large flight of steps, leading to the upper floor… and to yet another third floor. “I’ve… never been in a mansion before.” He said with awe. The whole building was impressive. Angel made a lot of money with her shows… or religious cult.

Angel smiled. “Oh… I want you to live here. With me” she said.

The rabbit girl gasped. “W-what? Live… with… I mean you and me?! You…”

“Of course!” Angel smiled patting Barry’s head. “Though we do need to take care of a few little things…” Angel gave her innocent look once more before they arrived to a door on the second floor. A quick push and Barry came face to face with the most girly room she had ever laid eyes on. She was almost horrified yet strangely fascinated as she walked inside, her paws on plush pink carpet… not realising Angel had now quietly closed the door. There were some stuffed animals, one of which bore an uncanny resemblance to her changed state.

Did angel want to…

… well…

She wasn’t even sure she ‘could’ in this body but- maybe she should ask. “Uh- Angel-“

“Hush little bunny…” Angel opened up a dresser drawer. “I want to make you match the room…”

“Match? W-what?”

“I have had some… lovely ideas of clothes for you to wear… won’t you wear them? I want to take some selfies with you.”

Barry tilted her head. “Uh… well- I- I guess-“ What was the harm?

Susan sighed as she found herself at the pool… it made sense to at least make use of the facility though, so with a quick flop of her fins, she dove into it with a mighty splash. Everyone of course, looked at her direction with some annoyance… but Susan didn’t care about ‘normies’ that much. She flopped her fins and seemed to just ‘fly’ across the waters, enjoying the momentary burst of freedom. Then she removed her goggles…

Her large wide blue eyes with highly dilated pupils were a little too freaky for most ‘normies’ to handle, but they allowed her to see in incredible detail under the water. She saw some of the hurriedly leave the area not quite able to fathom the unsettling look. It made her very… strange, perhaps more so than the fins did. She blinked her double set eyelids, as she swam in smooth circles … for a moment enjoying the peace of this world… even as more started to leave.

It was at times like this, Susan wondered if she should just run away to the ocean. Her body was adapted for it… and yet even here, in a very large pool she was alone. She glided back to the surface, her wet dress clinging to her waterproof skin.

She watched the humans left who now seemed to ignore her… she didn’t mind that. She had done what Barry wanted and… now she was at a loose end and was just enjoying herself as best she could. Though it seemed that some of the girls in a group had got the idea to grab her wheelchair.

“Hey!” She screamed. “Give that back-“

“Why don’t you try crawling to it freak! We’ll just bring it inside!” One of the girls taunted.

… and now Susan remembered why she hated parties. She was not going to make a spectacle of herself. Rather then get angry, cry, or react she let herself sink to the bottom of the pool and decided to just wait… she was sure Barry would eventually bring it to her. “Jeez Barry, where are you…”

“Oh this is so cute on you!”

Barry was... playing dress up. She was currently dressed in a white ‘little Bopeep’ outfit. She wanted to be annoyed but Angel seemed to really like it.

“Maybe with a cute bow on your head teehee…”

“Uh- Angel this is kinda weird-“ Barry tried to say. She had never worn such.. frilly things in her life and this was getting overboard!

“No it isn’t! You’re perfect… you’re my precious little toy now…. I’m going to keep you forever bunny.”

The rabbit-girl felt a weird mix of emotions. Horror… as well as a weird, unsettling feeling that made her wonder… forever? She … she loved her then? But this wasn’t quite the love she was hoping for… it was..

‘You are made perfect to what she desires most…’

“Oh no…” Barry suddenly pulled away. “Uh- Angel… actually… I… I think it’s getting late. I want to go home now.” This was too weird… way to weird for her. She needed space! She needed to think-

“But… little bunny… you are home.” Angel smiled. “Come here…“

“Gah!” Barry was pulled into Angel’s chest. She was so strong! She felt her wings suddenly wrap all around her furry body. Barry had never felt such a weird feeling of bliss… it was overpowering ‘everything’ in her head. She felt strange as those feathers tickled her back. Then Angel started to play with her long ears… which sent yet another shiver across the rabbit-girl. “Isn’t that nice…” Angel smiled again. “You do want to be with me don’t you? I’d get so lonely otherwise. It’s just nice to have a walking talking toy to play with…”

“O-Oh- yes…” Barry moaned.

“Then let’s brush your hair next!” The angel-girl said excitedly.

The party had long ended… and evening was turning to night. Susan popped out of the water to look for Barry. “Where the heck is he!” She muttered. “My wheelchair urgh!” It was gone. She slowly started to slide her body out of the pool. Her long fins protested as they hit the green grass. “Ouch- damn it.” She had no idea where her wheelchair was… those… those stupid people. She leaned back a bit to get her breath, the mermaid trying to catch her breath. She slowly slid on her goggles as the stinging air started to dry them, the watery membrane giving her clarity of vision once more. “Okay… must be… around here…”
