The church came into view, Annita letting out a deep breath.
"Here it is." she thought, taking the time to shift the position of her bible. Not wanting to drop it, she made sure to hold onto the book tight.
Heading through the front door, the elderly woman was greeted by the sight of the pews and the light coming through the stained glass.
"Hello." a voice announced, Annita eventually focusing in on a woman that looked nearly as old as her. Dressed in a house dress, her green eyes and fading brown locks were a treat for her eyes. "I haven't seen you before."
"Annita." the elderly lady greeted. "What's your name?"
"Ludia." the woman explained and shook Annita's hand. While awkward, the bond was beginning to form within. Following her new friend, the pair took a seat.
The service that followed was quite good. Sure, this had been Annita's first sermon she had ever gone too. But that was probably why it made for such a good sermon.
While her singing could use some work, that was something Annita. Though, she wasn't expecting Ludita's hand to feel so good.
Now what?
